LeEco is well known as being a technology company, so when they announced theh LeEco Smart Bikes at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year, many people were shocked. This company announced the next generation of Smart Bikes, available in two complete carbon bikes – the Smart Mountain Bike and the Smart Road bike.
These bikes are powered by Android 6.0 BikeOS and featrues a nice 4-inch touchscreen that runs on a quad-core Snapdragon 410 Processor. The Android-powered BikeOS features a touchscreen display that will help cyclists track their performance and navigate rides.
LeEco Smart Road Bike has an aerodynamic Toray T700 carbon fiber frame, seat post, fork, handlebar and wheels and it weighs 18.5 pounds. This bike sports an 11-speed one-by drive train, along with a variety of other elements, like a brake set with dual pivot tech.
LeEco Smart Mountain Bike, on the other hand, features a Toray T700 carbon fiber frame as well. It also has a SR Suntour XCR Air front fork, handlebar, and 27.5-inch diameter wheelset. His bike, however, weighs in at 26.9 pounds. It has an 11-speed one-by drivetrain with 1 chain ring crankset. It also features a hydraulic brake set so that you will enjoy a smooth ride.
Both of LeEco’s bikes are feature a 4-inch touchscreen and are powered by Android 6.0 BikeOS. They run on a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. The devices are both backed by a 6,000 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The system is capable of giving a turn-by-turn navigation from HERE Maps, offline and online music playback.

When you use one of these bikes, you have the option to review and share your rides with others via the companion app – this is a pretty cool feature.
The bikes have various sensors. The sensors include: compass, GPS/GLONASS, accelerometer, light level, barometer, crank speed and wheel speed. To help meet fitness goals, they are compatible with heart rate and power sensors.
Both of the bikes offer on-board lighting (front/sides), a security alarm and horn. Both models contain electronics that are water resistant to level IP54.
The smart bikes will become available in the United States during the second quarter of 2017.During this time, LeEco has not given the price for either bike, and it’s hard to tell how much they’ll go for.
